Abstract

La atención estomatológica es una de las estrategias priorizadas del Ministerio de Salud Pública con una alta repercusión en el estado de salud de la población, así como en los órdenes político y social, por estar encaminada a mejorar la salud bucal y general de la población y su satisfacción con los servicios.

Tomando esta premisa y como resultado del proceso de acreditación de la carrera de Estomatología en la Universidad Médica avileña, se desarrolló del 5 al 8 de diciembre de 2018, por primera ocasión, el 1er Fórum Científico Estudiantil Regional de Odontología y Salud bucal “ODONTOÁVILA”. Celebrado en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas “Dr. José Assef  Yara”.
