Sebaceous carcinoma of eyelid presented in case report

We report a case of a patient diagnosed with sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelid in which the presentation was completely atypical. Initially, a growing eyelid tumor was detected. A detailed review of the medical history was performed, and a corresponding biopsy was performed. Sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelid is a rare entity in ophthalmic clinical practice, these lesions being easily confused with benign lesions such as chalazion and blepharoconjunctivitis due to the specialist's lack of familiarity with the disease. It is necessary to have a high index of suspicion and know that it exists to treat this entity in a timely manner. It was decided to present it because of its scientific, healthcare and teaching importance as it is a unique case due to its presentation.
