Adamantiades-Behcet syndrome. A case report.

Adamantiades-Behcet Syndrome is a multsystemicinflammatory disease which is most common in Oriental Mediterranean basin, Asia and Turkey. A case report is presented related to a 52 year-old male patient who showed oral ulcers, uveitis, euphoria and psychomotor disorders. On physical examination it was evident a coloration change and a bone alterations in the palatal area, in the chest X-Ray an image related to a possible inflammatory process was observed, indicating a link with specific signs of this disease. The patient was treated with steroids and immunosupressants. He had mostly presented neurological symtomps, that's why his evolution to neuro-Behçet studied. The syndrome diagnosis process in early stages is really important due to patients need a quick and powerful intervention to avoid an irreversible structural deterioration and their complication up to the central nervous system.
