Satisfaction Level Regarding Vector Control Screening in Older Adults
Abstract
Introduction: Older adults tend to present more severe atypical clinical manifestations with arboviral diseases, which is why they are included among the prioritized risk groups in screening programs.
Objective: To determine the level of satisfaction of older adults regarding vector control screening.
Materials and Methods: A descriptive observational cross-sectional study was conducted in a population of older adults belonging to Family Doctor’s Office No. 6 of the Luis Galván Soca General Teaching Polyclinic, Centro Habana municipality, during the period from September to October 2025.
Results: The mean age was 70.51 years with a standard deviation of ±7.49 years. It was found that 67.14% rated their satisfaction level as “good,” and 35.71% reported that upon identifying symptoms they would seek care at a medical assistance center.
Conclusions: The satisfaction level regarding vector control screening was rated as “good”.
